Everything you need to know about credits, safety boundaries, and how the zengen-ai platform works.
zengen-ai uses an internal credit wallet to manage access to AI operations. Every account starts with 10 free credits. Credits are consumed when you successfully complete an AI operation. Failed operations due to server errors do not consume credits.

Important: Credits are consumed at the time of a successful operation. If you cancel your subscription, you keep any remaining credits until they are exhausted. Credits do not roll over between billing periods on Pro and Studio Max plans.
Step 1: Credit Check
Before any AI call is made, the system verifies you have at least 1 credit. If you have insufficient credits, the request is rejected immediately with a 403 error — no AI calls are made.
Step 2: Segmentation Masking (Fal.ai)
Your image and text instruction are sent to our segmentation provider (Fal.ai). The AI identifies and isolates the described object, producing a precise binary black-and-white mask image.
Step 3: LaMa Inpainting (Replicate)
The original image and the binary mask are submitted to the Replicate LaMa (Large Mask inpainting) model. LaMa fills the masked region with seamlessly generated background content.
Step 4: Credit Deduction & Logging
Exactly 1 credit is deducted from your wallet. The generation is logged in our database including your prompt, mask URL, output URL, and moderation status.
zengen-ai employs a layered moderation system to ensure the platform is used responsibly. All generations pass through the following checks:
Prompts are scanned for mature content keywords before processing. If mature content is detected and the user has Unfiltered Mode disabled (the default), the generation is automatically flagged as pending_review in the admin panel. Users with Pro or Studio Max subscriptions may enable Unfiltered Mode, which passes enable_safety_checker: false to supported open-weight endpoints.
Default state. Content passed all safety checks and is publicly viewable.
Flagged for admin review due to mature content keywords or NSFW mode being enabled.
Content was reviewed and blocked. The output image is replaced with a placeholder. The account is flagged.
The following content is strictly prohibited on the zengen-ai platform, regardless of subscription tier:
Enforcement: Accounts found to be generating prohibited content will be immediately suspended. Credits are non-refundable in cases of policy violation. Repeated violations may result in permanent bans and reporting to relevant authorities.

By creating an account or using the zengen-ai platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Sharing your account credentials is prohibited. zengen-ai is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
Credits are virtual tokens with no cash value. They cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded except as required by law. Subscription charges are processed via Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
You retain ownership of images you upload. zengen-ai grants you a license to use generated output images for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms. You grant zengen-ai a limited license to process your uploaded images through our AI pipeline solely to provide the service.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. zengen-ai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any claim is the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
